<p>I have just bought the NEW E72 and must say that that I am UTTERLY DISAPPOINTED with the keypad ... In spite of the phone being fantastic, the reason why I CHOSE IT OVER A BLACKBERRY BOLD, the keypad has only made life harder ... We have GROWN UP WITH NOKIA and our communicating skills and the ease with which we did it got automatically upgraded with each new feature NOKIA introduced in it's new models ... AND that's how we learned to use the T9 feature and the usage of the keypad along with it ...I love everything about the N72 BUT NOT THE QWERTY keypad SIMPLY BECAUSE WE DON"T NEED IT ... we are all used to carrying laptops with us and there for might not want to use our mobiles as computers when it comes to typing etc ... TEXT MESSAGING AND MOBILES are unique to each other and therefore I don't wish to go thru the pain of having to learn the qwerty keypad pattern when it comes to typing small text messages... N72 should come with the option of MOBILE KEYPADS .. not like the hard/uneasy ones we got in 6700 classic (MY previous model) but like ones we loved in the E52... WE WOULD ALL LOVE TO HAVE A VERSION OF THE N72 WITH KEYPADS AS IT WAS IN 6233 ... WITH THE KEYS NEITHER BIGGER NOR SMALLER ... I hope TEAM NOKIA will look into this, understand the problems loyal NOKIA users are facing when they wish to upgrade to a new and better phone WITHOUT COMPLICATIONS AND MAKING THINGS HARDER FOR THEM AND do something in this regard.. Also, making a playlist from the hundreds of songs that one might have in a 8 or 16 GB memory card is extremely hard and complicated as one has to browse thru the entire list of songs and then choose them individually to add them to a playlist … Making playlists should happen as it was done in the 6233 music edition, 6700 classic or the way tracklists can be created in the E51 … Also all phones should come with the 3.5 jack for headphones and not the ones that came woth the 6700 classic ..
Hope Nokia will address these issues and refrain us from shifting loyalty to other brands..
Best wishes
