SugarSync cloud storage and sharing arrives on S60 3rd Edition

SugarSync cloud storage and sharing arrives on S60 3rd EditionLast year I wrote that the SugarSync cloud storage and sharing service arrived for S60 5th Edition. I was recently sent a note from the SugarSync folks that a version was just released for S60 3rd Edition devices. There are something like 390 million Symbian handsets around the world so there is still a rather large market for apps.

SugarSync gives you 5GB for free with options to upgrade to more storage as well. With SugarSync you can access, manage, and share documents, photos, music, and more stored in the cloud. SugarSync works with Windows, Mac, iOS, Android, and BlackBerry devices too so you get a truly cross platform experience.

You can find SugarSync at the Ovi Store for free. I will need to try it out on the Nokia E73 Mode.

I have just installed on my (UK) unlocked latest firmware E71 and it doesn’t work – just displays the logon screen briefly. Perhaps it hasn’t been tested with FP1 devices…?

Pr 1.1 Update is available in USA now. Matthew your contact form doesn’t work. I know the comment doesn’t belong here. Just don’t want it lost in the long lis of comments at the relative post

Good review – there are a few recent changes as of June 2011:
You get 5GB of space with the FREE version, but now there is no restriction to the number of computers you can sync/backup (up from 2).
It gives you the ability to upload and sync any folder on your computer.
It is the only service that offers such a broad device and OS support with apps for Symbian, BlackBerry, Android, iPhone/iPad, not to mention your computer!

Also if you use the below referral code you get a bonus 500MB extra on top of your Free 5GB!

Hope it helps someone.
