Skype video calling comes to Symbian with fring

One of my favorite VoIP applications for my S60 devices is fring and I was pleased to read today that Skype and fring video calls are now supported on select Symbian S60 devices. fring video is currently supported on the Nokia X6, N97 mini, N97, 5800, N95, N95 8G and N82 devices. I have an N97 mini and will have to load up the latest version of fring and test out this new capability. I do not currently have a S60 device with 3G support, but will try loading up the latest version of fring on the N97 mini to make calls via WiFi or my Verizon MiFi to see how well it works.

fring and Skype are great ways to stay in touch when traveling overseas and it is great to finally see video support coming to smartphone. If you try this out on your device, please post on your experiences here.
