Rafe keeps waving the Samsung OMNIA HD in my face

omnia-hdMy pal Rafe Blandford posted the first part of his more detailed hands-on preview of the Samsung OMNIA HD and you have to admit that is one slick device. If I wasn’t such a huge QWERTY keyboard fan this would definitely be on my list of prime devices. Even though it doesn’t, it is still quite compelling with that beautiful display and other design features.

I owned a Samsung OMNIA Windows Mobile phone for about a month and thought it was a fantastic media focused device. The lack of a hardware keyboard was actually the primary reason I traded it away and the only touch only device that I have found works pretty well for my is the Apple iPhone.

I have played with this device and i think it will be a huge seller when out however it’s not true HD, needless ti say the quality is so good the average person won’t care or even know until the read this and start to research what real HD is lol.

As you can see in the video above, it is quite challenging and I can tell you with certainty it’s an addictive game. Puzzle lovers (and obviously Nintaii lovers) are guaranteed to have a lot of fun!

You remember those old flip books where you could mix and match the head, body, and legs from various animals and such? Well, preschool pals with Henry and Hailey takes this idea and turns it in to an app for kids on the iPhone.

When playing this app, the first thing you can do is go through and look at the various “preschool pals” as they are supposed to appear. They include things like a fireman, policeman, robot, ballerina, etc. You can look at each image, and hit the play button to have each one say something (just a sentence or two).

Nokia’s free Exchange sync client, Mail for Exchange, was updated this week with some updates that include improved battery life, pictures in contacts, and more. I was all excited about the launch of the Nokia E71x on AT&T that was rumored for 24 March, but unfortunately the rumor mill was wrong and it may be another 8 to 10 weeks, if at all, before we see this device on AT&T. A couple more lucky folks were able to get hands-on with devices I can’t wait to see including the Nokia E75 and Samsung OMNIA HD. […]
