I bought 2 apps for my Nokia E71. One was from the Nokia Software Market, the other from OVI. Neither loaded successfully. Now, over 3 weeks later and following repeated emails and telephones calls to Nokia and OVI, the app from NSM has never loaded and is nowhere to be seen and the app from OVI arrived after a 2 week wait. Sadly, I subsequently synchronised my phone with Nokia PCSsuite and was told to upgrade my firmware which i did after backing up with PCSuite, but when I restored after the upgrade, the OVI app had disappeared. Strangely, the free apps from OVI downloaded and installed without problem and survived the firmware upgrade with no issues whatsoever. Nokia email support is slow and keeps asking for the same information to be submitted time after time while if you want to speak to their support on the phone, expect to wait between 30-40 minutes to get through. No more Nokia for me or my firm. I have bought 15+ Nokia phones (not to mention Nokia car kits, Nokia headsets etc.) every year since 1996, if my custom isn't valued by Nokia, then I'll go elsewhere. Nokia should remember that the apps may be "cheap", but they are bought to enhance expensive Nokia hardware and as such, should receive full customer service and should not be seen just as another way of fleecing the public.
