i have a nokia 5800. When i had purchased this one it had a preloaded ovi store but once i formatted it the ovi store has gone. Now what to do to get the ovi store back?

Works on my E71x. Takes a bit of doing to get registered, what with running links and passwords back and forth a couple of times to get "authorized". Finally, I was able to get Mundu radio. Installed straight to the phone. This allows streaming mp3 stations that Nokia's InternetRadio will not allow. Skyfire enables me to play FoxNews Radio on ShoutCast for free. Att wants to charge for this. An app called SmartLight (v 1.4) allows stream to run after screen goes blank (powersave mode)

Hi, I downloaded several apps from Ovi onto my E71x and attempted to install them. While installation, apps went cheking with certificats over the air and failed.

Also Ovi does not seem to be supporting E71x so that they refuse to let us downloding apps diretly from E71x.

I think Nokia and ATT made an arrangement so that ATT E71x customers are not using Ovi so as to protect ATT's business, unlike iPhone App store.

Thanks Moogle, mine works now too. I guess I was a bit early in the rollout period. Even though this isn’t a dedicated application, it is much better than nothing at all and now I am off to buy stuff to talk about here.

That’s weird, I was able to browse to store.ovi.com on my E71x perfectly. I even signed up for an account and downloaded some video called ‘Lonely Planet Alaska’. Haven’t tried to install any program yet as they all look kinda crappy and I don’t want to install things to my E71x without knowing that it’s supported.

The website version seems to be working okay now. I keep getting “Unable to connect to server” on my NAM 5800.

The answer is "NO", because AT&T controls the security signing of apps on all AT&T phones except Blackberry and iPhone. Since those apps are not signed by AT&T, they won't work on AT&T phone.

This is true for all US carriers.

No love for my N95-3 either. In download section, the Ovi store lit up as orange (installed) even thought I had not installed it. In browser, the message told me the device is incompatible.
