Nokia Ovi Store NY contest, holiday apps, app sales, and free apps galore
I had my issues with Nokia’s Ovi Store back when it rolled out, but since that time Nokia has made some improvements and addressed some of my biggest gripes. I actually have been using it quite a bit lately on my Nokia devices and now that the N97 mini NAM is in hand for extensive testing I am looking to load it up with fun apps. I received an email from Nokia telling me of some holiday promotions they have in the Ovi Store this month that I think you will all appreciate.
The first promotion is actually a contest with the grand prize being a trip to NY for two and a couple of N97 devices. You also get $1,500 in spending money for those three nights in NY. There will be 5 second prizes consisting of HP Photosmart All-in-One Printers.
Nokia also has price reductions on the following titles. They told me the titles should run about 2 Euros (approximately $3), with normal prices of about 5 Euros (approximately $7.50). This price reduction will run from now until 31 December.
