Dear Brian Pearce
I fail to understand what value your grammatical criticims provide to this forum. Are you so insecure that you feel compelled to correct poor English? Not all people have the comprehensive grasp of our language that you seem to have; particularly if English is not their first.
I disagree with your comment regarding the use of the word "actually". Perhaps the intent was to "signal dissembling". Once discovered, Matthew's reaction could have been to the effect of "How could I not see before now?", and consequently the inclusion of the word was intentional and therefore correct.

You began to lose me "I actually noticed ... this past weekend" (plain English: "I noticed ... this weekend". "Actually" says nothing, and often signals dissembling. No need to say "this past"--past tenses says it all. Then came the dreaded "moving forward." Future tense does the job. Bad form distracts from content I'd been seeking--news about new Nokia.

Just installed the update on my N97 and it feels great. The interface is a lot snapier then before and the transitions from portrait to landscape are faster as well. It's not freezing any more when switching from a lot of open apps. It's a great improvement.

It wont be available to everyone at once. Release to different markets will be staggered I'm sure, there are some reports online of people that did receive the update.
