Found the answer, you have to turn off the n900 and power it back on. Once powered on, the deleted video’s no longer appear as thumbnails when you view the remaining videos via the n900′s media player.

if you hook the n900 via usb to the PC and delete a video file via windows file manager, how do you delete the thumbnail that remains on the n900. anybody???

i LOVE the n900, my mum bort me it for xmaas and i still love it, its the best phone ive ever had and everyone jeluss but if u use it too much during the day, it isnt very good but i still love it x

Hi Matt, thanks for that great coverage… I am not sure it helps me while I wait for the N900 to arrive or whether it makes me even more anxious

In any case, keep up the coverage… it is appreciated.

Quick question: I believe you also use the N900 for podcast listening, right? Does it play back enhanced podcasts such as those from GDGT or Engadget? Symbian phones don’t play them back, but I saw on some video that gPodder does handle them, so now the only thing I need to know is whether the media player will play them back.

What's the performance with online video (youtube, hulu, etc.) over 3G and wifi?

I was told by Nokia that my garmin sat-nav that I have in my N95 will work on the N900. have you tried the sat-nav or the maps. thanks
