My connection is much slower than when I connected via an verizon express card - guess that is a given with a USB connection.

Even sharing my verizon express card connection with another laptop via airport ... even that is faster than the nokia USB connection ...

I have spent days trying to connect my PC & MAC, and it keeps asking me to subsribe to a different plan, it says my plan does not support it. MY question is, do I need to upgrade to $30 plan for this tethering to work? thanks

Hey thanks for information in simple steps. But I have one more question, with this method I can connect AT&T network.

How do I get connection to wireless network? If a mobile is on Wi-Fi network, and I connect it to laptop its still connect thru AT&T network not through wireless network.

Now, this use case is not totally absurd as I have a desktop without wireless card. If could just connect to WLan it will be cool.

My AT&T tethering stopped working today! Windows 7 says that I get no dial tone. I wonder if AT&T got wise (but I definitely have not been using it very much), or if it’s a techie problem on my end (perhaps due to upgrading to PR1.1).

I was just curious, what Data Plan with t-Mobile do you have to be on ?

I have snuck by with my $10 a month data plan, but dont think itll work for tethering. Let me know if ya can
