Nokia E75 now shipping in selected areas
I posted some initial thoughts on the Nokia E75 and will be posting a more in-depth review soon on my ZDNet blog. I just saw the Nokia press release announcing that the E75 is shipping now in some areas of the world. I am a much bigger supporter of the E75 after actually having used one now for a few days and think it is a fantastic device. I did not know that this is the first Eseries device with N-Gage support until I read it in the press release, which makes it a bit more interesting to me. I have the N85 now for the camera and N-Gage functionality, but with the 3.5mm headset jack, decent camera, and now N-Gage support on the E75 along with the QWERTY keyboard I just may be putting my N85 up on the auction block.
The press release focuses on the new integrated Nokia Messaging client and I agree this is the best feature for me on this device. I plan to write up an article on this experience soon to share with all of you too.

Seems like the qwerty is what you’ve been longing for. Migrating from my aging N82 I have my eye set on the E71, or N97. what about the OLED screen, is that not something you will miss on the N85 as well as the 5mp camera?

It looks nice but i prefer the e-71 i just got it back from my gf and all is well again i missed my breathing light
The OLED display is very nice, but it is looking like the E75 camera will work just fine for my needs. I am working on a post comparing the three 3.2 megapixel cameras I have in hand.
I’m still not sure about the E71 vs. E75 yet either, but the software (Nokia Messaging) is very good on the E75 and that could beat it out.
