Have a good widget idea? Enter to win your own Nokia N97
Do you have a Nokia N97 or are you thinking about getting one? The widget support on the home/standby screen is one of the slickest features of this new device and there is a new contest going on where you create a widget using their four step process to have a chance at winning one of 10 Nokia N97 devices. It appears that the widgets you design for this competition are different RSS feed options to give you data “as it happens”.
The winning widgets will be installed on the N97 you win and available for download on the Ovi Store. I am trying to think of something valuable myself and may enter if I can come up with a good idea. Best of luck to all you readers who enter.

As much as I like the execution of this concept, and the contest along with it, I’d prefer a widget that would allow me to interact with it, rather than something that just feeds me data.
Ideally, I’d like a widget that I could search for specific verses, and then it would change to showing me the results of that search, which then clicking the widget would take me to the online bible of my choosing.
That’s my idea of a widget, but definitely not in the scope of this contest.
I agree, I would find interactive widgets more useful too, but I guess this is a start and a nice prize for the winner.
Let’s hope there is lots of work coming in way of what these widgets can do for us.

I think that a good widget will be a sunpass widget.come on who doesn’t have a sunpass transponder this days.i would like to see one that update your account every hour that you pass by a toll plaza or by the end of the day.and that you could add funds to your account or add cars or trucks to that widget and don’t have to go to the website.(cars and trucks for the transponder that you could change between vehicles)now that would be a good widget and i will give a 5 star.
