Fring can be configured to be an 'aggressive' app, which means if you hit the 'end-key' or crash the application, or get disconnected, it will automatically restart itself and continue to reconnect until it is online. This also helps in flaky connection. This also increases reliability of remaining online.

Nimbuzz, on the other hand, closes if you hit the end key and is overall much 'easier' to kill.

Handy taskman is woth every penny. Don’t forget seven email its free, handy clock, Skyfire browser (hulu on your phone woot)
