Deal Alert: Nokia 5800 XM for $239.99 at Amazon
The last deal alert looks like it was a temporary pricing error on Nokia’s part, but this current one for a Nokia 5800 XM for just $239.99 after a $50 rebate from Amazon is the real deal. If I didn’t already have one I would jump on this deal because I find the 5800 XM to be an excellent device and very enjoyable media player.
This is the version that supports the US AT&T 3G network and includes an 8GB microSD card. FYI, this is priced at $359 on the Nokia USA site so this is quite a deal for a quality device.\
UPDATE: It looks like these are all gone from Amazon now and only sold through 3rd party vendors. These deals go quick so keep your eyes alert when they pop-up.
UPDATE 2: The price after rebate is back up to $289.99. I hope a few of you were able to get the deal when it was valid.

At this time 9:30ET I don’t see 5800 NAM sold by Amazon. Are they all gone already?
Wow, that was fast! I guess when I post these Deal Alerts you really do need to be ready to make the purchase as these things seem to go very quickly.
What a steal! The 5800 was the device that got me into Nokia.. Reading reviews of the iPhone, I came across a comparison of it and the Nokia 5800 and was sold on Nokia. The E71 ended up being the device that better suited my needs, but the 5800 always seems like such a great phone..

Very good deal. It would be nice if you could send alerts on Nokia 3G models for the International Users. I live in Japan and travel Asia.
