Celluloco definitely has it for that price, very nice, but also has a "no returns on cell phones" policy.

IMO the choice is:
* Amazon - if you want to be able to return it
* Celluloco - if you want the cheapest price

Newegg seems to lose on both.

I really wish I could play with one hands-on first, but since I can't in my area, I'll be going with Amazon.

I'm specially concerned about Customer Service because I had a nightmarish experience with - guess who? - Nokia USA!

I bought an N97 with them that unfortunately had a huge light leak. I called and requested a replacement but their asinine policy was for me to return my defective phone, order a new one, get my card charged again and then wait until they decided to give me a credit on the first charge.

I'm sorry I went on a rant about something non-related to the original post. But it doesn't matter where we order the N900, we should ALWAYS read the fine print in the return/exchange policy. By my experience, initial batches of Nokia phones always present a comparatively higher rate of build quality issues.

Either that, or I am the guy with the worst luck in phones.

I just checked Newegg's N900 description and the N900 can't be returned within 30 days for refund, only for replacement.

I just recently found your site and thought it was comprehensive and neatly managed. I have a question about the preorder w/ Newegg. Did they charge you payment at the time of purchase or are they waiting like amazon is till the release date?

Thank you for the tip. Immediately canceled my order with Amazon and placed it with NewEgg and saved about another $20. Both companies are good to deal with but saving money is saving money.
